Little White Bishop

This little dress was in Austrailian Smocking and Embroidery, Issue 83.
I used Chery Williams' bishop pattern.

The center front of mine is slightly different than the plate in the magazine.
I messed up some counting and adjusted the design, and I like the way it turned out!

My daughter is not fond of the seed pearls, but I think they are pretty!

A peek at the sleeve...

Someday a little girl in my family will wear this...

My next post will be the complete opposite of this one!
A little boy's appliqued football Jon Jon!
...coming soon...

  2. I love this one!! I like how the pearls stand alone and aren't strung on the smocking; it's different from how I normally see it!
